Cannonball Shane has been playing with the band from the beginning - March 2005 - when it was still called Triple S. Born in Edmonton, but raised in Calgary, Shane has played in a number of bands, including Cosmic Charlie, with current Blush drummer Steve Hazlett. When not playing with Heather, Shane is a sought-after bass player for many Calgary-based bands. He also is a talented stone sculptor (some of his pieces can be seen in downtown Calgary), and owns a stonemasonry business, Sutherland Stone, through which he sometimes employs fellow bandmates Heather and Steve. A former competitive wrestler, Cannonball has also had his teeth knocked out by one of those very same bandmates (really - ask him!)
